A Staffy is in need of a new home! Here's her current human Zoe with the details:

Needs to be re-homed: Due to loss of job and my living arrangements, I have to give up my sweet little Staffordshire bull Terrier girl Star. She is 7 years old and comes from a pretty impressive lineage. Her Grandmother is Emma Peel who boasts 4 national championships (UK, US, South Africa, and Canada). Although Crossbow's Star Spangled did not complete her championship due to pregnancy complications she has been the family pet since we acquired her as a 4 month old. She is brindle and white and is small for a Staffy. She is young enough to still have some terrier play and is the image of the breeds loyalty and propensity for being the social director of the neighborhood. She recently lost her lifetime male mate due to a tumor but has not lost any of her cooperation with my granddaughter for dress up, toe nail painting, or laying still while she gets marker tattoo's on her belly. She loves to warm herself by the fire and loves napping on her back on the couch. She has been a little overweight, but I have had her on a diet and exercise program so she doesn't look so much like a stuffed sausage anymore. I am sad that I cannot keep her and would like to see her go to a family familiar with the breed.

Some additional info

  • Not been around cats so not sure but does chase the bunnies
  • Not been around larger animals like horses
  • Crate trained
  • Bit scared of fireworks and gun shots but can be managed with rescue remedy
  • No corn diet required due to some allergy issues.

If you know of a good home for Star, please contact us at webmaster@staffyclub.com and we'll put you in touch with Zoe.
